T: Oh, Acyuta, the One encompassing all creation, being the source of all colours, and the One from whom emanates all fragrance, You are now providing shelter to the celestial Vaijayantī Mālā. Oh, Lord, You who are the One conferring all gifts and boons to all in the three worlds. Is that the reason, therefore, that this Vaijayantī has also been granted the status of Sārūpyam by Your grace, and is worshipped by all as being identical to You?
Explanation: The Lord dwells as the inner soul of all creation and the heart of all living creatures. Vipra-Kṣatriya-Vaiśya-Śūdra - all categories of men have as their refuge the same Lord. Thus the Lord is origin of all fragrances too. The Vaijayantī Mālā which adorns the Lord has thus acquired all these qualities! The Purāṇās declare that the Vaijayantī Mālā has all these divine attributes-
"The Lord's Vaijayantī Mālā is the abode of all five elements, encompasses all colours and all fragrances".
The poet assures that the Vaijayantī Mālā's glory is entirely due to her coming into the Lord's service and being blessed by Him to achieve identity of form. This is Utprekṣā.
