Shloka 54 - Sri Varadarajastava

सव्यापसव्यशरमोक्षकृतीक्षुधन्वा जङ्घे तव स्वशरधी इति सन्दिहानः ।

आलोकतेऽङ्घ्रिकटकोद्गतरुक्छलेन न्यस्याभितो निजशराननुरूपभावम् ॥५४॥                    

T: Manmatha is ambidextrous (shooting arrows from both his left and right hands). He sees, oh Lord, Your two legs (from the waist down) and mistakes them for his left and right quivers! He places his arrows around Your legs to see them glitter in the lustre of the gold and gem-studded ornaments already adorning Your legs. He is delighted seeing how matchingly beautiful they appear there.           

Explanation:  The Lord's legs are brilliant like the quivers of the God of Love, Manmatha.  The ornaments called Kaṭaka adorning the leg shine like Manmatha's arrows. This makes the poet imagine that perhaps, Manmatha has come and placed his arrows around the Lord's legs, to see whether they match and enhance the beauty of the Lord's legs.  The poet explains that primarily, Manmatha, the ambidextrous archer, must have mistaken the Lord's legs for his own left and right quivers.

Translation
Oh Lord! The one capable of releasing arrows from both left and right hands, Manmatha the God of Love with his set of arrows and bow, mistaking Your two legs to be his quivers, places, alongside the lustrous Kaṭaka ornaments adorning Your legs, his own arrows, eager to see how they resemble each other in brilliance.
