यत्ते पदाम्बुरुहमम्बुरुहासनेड्यं धन्याः प्रपद्य सकृदीश भवन्ति मुक्ताः ।
नित्यं तदेव भजतामतिमुक्तलक्ष्मीर्युक्तैव दिव्यमणिनूपुरमौक्तिकानाम् ॥५१॥
T: Oh Lord Śrī Varadarāja, Your lotus feet are worshipped and adored by Lord Brahmā himself. They confer salvation even on those who come and worship them only once. Therefore those divinely beautiful pearls that permanently stud the anklets adorning Your feet certainly deserve their lustre of supreme liberation!
Explanation: The poet is punning here cleverly on the word mukta and atimukta. Atimukta in one sense means higher than liberated souls. The other sense for Atimukta = the splendorous Vāsantī white flowers that the pearls (mukta) resemble. So the poet here is asserting that the splendorous pearls in the Lord's anklets are superior to even liberated souls. He gives his logic: when devotees come and worship the Lord's feet even once, they are instantly liberated. Then these pearls whose home is the Lord's feet in those anklets should excel those devotees on account of their worshipping the Lord's feet constantly, so they are certainly Atimukta (=superliberated as well as superbrilliant like Vāsantī flowers!)
