मूर्तिं प्रसाधयति ते चरणांशुपुञ्जस्तां जैमिनिः कथमधीश निराकरोतु।
सर्वत्र योगमुपपादयतारुणिम्नस्तेनारुणाधिकरणे हि मुनिः स भग्नः ॥३६॥
T: Oh, Śrī Varadarāja, Lord of the world, the lustorus rays emanating from Your feet are illuminating Your entire form. How can the Rishi Jaimini reject this truth? The way the rays are spreading the reddish glow Aruṇimā from Your feet disproves the theory of Rishi Jaimini in respect of Aruṇādhikaraṇa, does it not!?
Explanation: Rishi Jaimini is the proponent of the Mīmāṃsā Sūtra. According to the Pūrva Mīmāṃsā school of philosophy, the deities and gods have no image or form. But how can Rishi Jaimini, on beholding the glowing form of Śrī Varadarāja, reject this truth? The reddish rays emanating from the Lord's feet are bathing everything with a reddish glow, Rishi Jaimini, in his treatise, has stated that the potential of Āruṇya (Aruṇādhikaraṇa) is not given to any other objects or things except animals (Paśu). The line is अरुणया पिङ्गाक्ष्या एकहायन्या सोमं क्रीणाति। Āruṇya or the sanguine glow of red hue is now being extended to all objects by Lord Śrī Varadarāja through His grace emanating from His feet. Thus, this phenomenon disproves Jaimini's theory. In the process, the poet says that Jaimini's other theory that there are no forms or images manifested by deities and gods is also laid low by the very presence of Śrī Varadarāja. For devotees, it is absolutely essential to worship the Lord with form as Saguṇopāsana, underlines the poet in this stanza.
