आवासभूमिरसि सर्वगुणोत्तमानां वैकुण्ठ वर्णयतु कस्तव रूपरेखाम् ॥ १५॥
T: Oh, Lord Śrī Varadarāja, known as Vaikuṇṭha (literally means unhindered, undiminished)! You are the consort of the Goddess Śrī Lakṣmī and most dear to her. You are the father of Manmatha, the God of Amorous Love. You are the Presiding Deity of Śṛṅgāra Rasa - the foremost among Rasas enunciated in our scriptures as the mood of love that intoxicates the whole universe. At the same time, Lord, You are the repository and operating basis of all human virtues and merits! When You are like this, full of Rasa (Emotive Power), Beauty, and Good, who can indeed begin to describe you?
Explanation: Goddess Śrī Lakṣmī is the Deity of all Wealth, Beauty and Prosperity. Her consort is the Lord Śrī Varadarāja. The God who administers the supreme sentiment of amorous love in this world is Manmatha. His father is again the Lord Śrī Varadarāja! Then the Presiding Deity of Śṛṅgāra Rasa is also Viṣṇu, Śrī Varadarāja. Among the nine moods or Rasas experienced by men, Śṛṅgāra is hailed as the foremost. Ānandavardhana and other litterateurs propound emphatically, शृङ्गार एव परमः परः प्रह्लादनो रसः - the supreme Rasa which gives the maximum joy to man is Śṛṅgāra Rasa. Further, for all virtues and noble qualities of man, the foundation of Sattva is the Lord Śrī Varadarāja, whose description is that He is the repository of सकलकल्याणगुण. Therefore is it ever possible to describe adequately the Paramātmā Lord Śrī Varadarāja's beauties and attributes? Nobody can do justice to such a task, says the poet here.
