निर्ययावथ पौलस्त्यः पुनर्युद्धाय मन्दिरात् ।
अरावणमरामं वा जगदद्येति निश्चितः ॥१२.८३॥
Notes: Kālidāsa says, “Then Rāvaṇa started again from his palace for that final battle to decide whether the world would soon be one without Rāvaṇa or one without Rāma. One of them was going to be eliminated. This was his final battle."
