जय श्रीराम!
अकाले बोधितो भ्रात्रा प्रियस्वप्नो वृथा भवान् ।
रामेषुभिरितीवासौ दीर्घनिद्रां प्रवेशितः ॥१२.८१॥
Notes: Kālidāsa says, “Oh, dear Kumbhakarṇa, you, who love your sleep, were woken up unnecessarily at the wrong time (as this was your sleep cycle!) by your brother Rāvaṇa, and forced into the battle with Śrīrāma, whose arrows now sent you into eternal sleep!"
