Sunday, 5 February 2023 VIII.07 - This chapter covers how Bhagavan Maha Vishnu comes as Kurma/Kacchapa avatara (tortoise) and helps in churning the Milky Ocean. When Halahala the deadly poison to destroy all life appears, Bhagavan Shiva is prayed to by the gods and He galdly consumes the poison.

I find this chapter so great that I am spending 2 days on this. The gods' prayer to Bhagavan Shiva is so evocative. He responds to them with great affection and heroism. This is something to meditate on!
Today I shall give the shlokas as a slide show and the audio for you to listen to and chant. Tomorrow I shall give the meanings.
