After reading the episode in Srimad Bhagavatam 8.12, wherein Mohini simply sweeps Shiva off his feet until he resolutely recovers from the sexual infatuation with Bhagavan's avatar, I am thinking how true this "honey trap" is. Read this shloka!
को नु मेऽतितरेन्मायां विषक्तस्त्वदृते पुमान् । तांस्तान् विसृजतीं भावान् दुस्तरामकृतात्मभिः ॥ ३९॥
कः नु मे अतितरेत् मायां विषक्तः त्वदृते पुमान् तान् तान् विसृजतीं भावान् दुस्तराम् अकृतात्मभिः
त्वदृते अव्ययः except you, oh Shiva!
कः विषक्तः पुमान् which man with a weakness for carnal pleasures
नु अतितरेत् will transcend, indeed!
मे मायाम् My Maya!
That Maya which
विसृजतीम् provokes
तान् तान् भावान् those intense passions
दुस्तरां totally irresistible
अकृतात्मभिः by those without self-control.
Oh Lord Shiva, except you, which man can ever transcend the pull of My Maya that provokes in him such intense carnal passions that are totally irrestible except for those with self-control!
