aruṇatara adhara parilasat - (Oh Mother) with very red lips slightly parted
atimṛdu hasita dyuti paṭala ujjvale -to form a most delicate smile, you radiate with a glorious halo,
śaraṇa samāgata jana satata udyata paripālana  karuṇa kule -to those devotees come in surrender, always engaged in saving them, You are the reservoir of mercy,
parijana viracita navarātrotsava paritośita hṛdaye amale - organised by your followers, the celebration of Navaratri festival (by which) You are immensely pleased in Your heart, Oh Blemishless One, 
mayi nutiparāṇi karavāṇi kuru  - that I must be always be bent in devotion to you, please make me so, 
karuṇāmayi - Oh One full of mercy,
bhajanapare - accessible through prayer,
kundamukuḷaradane tule-with teeth like the buds of jasmine,
