निखिलज्ञानमूर्तदिव्यभक्तिभावसिन्धवे
भारतीयभूरिभव्यदर्शनादिगौरवे ।
हरिहरादिदेवसर्वस्तुतिसहस्रसागरे
सर्वलोकपावनार्थं त्वत्कृते कृपानिधे ॥
आदिख्यात-आदि-अन्तरहितब्रह्मरूपिणे
भाष्यग्रन्थतत्त्वबोधविविधशास्त्रकर्तृणे ।
देशदेशमार्गदर्शिपीठवरनिरूपिणे
नमोस्तु ते भवन् प्रसीद भक्तिरस्तु मे प्रभो ॥
Oh Adi Shankara!
You're the embodiment of the entire body of knowledge,
You're the divine ocean of devotion!
You're revered for holding up
the brilliance of the grand spiritual vision of Bharata,
You have created an ocean of thousands of prayers to Vishnu, Shiva and all other deities for the welfare of all,
You are the treasure trove of compassion!
Famous as "Adi Shankara", you are Brahman, without beginning and end.
You have composed a variety of scriptures including bhashyas on the Prasthanatraya and Tatvabodha.
In every corner of India, to show the way to liberation, you have established well the seats of preceptors (पीठ),
Oh Lord Shankara, I bow down to you. Kindly bless me that I will always have Bhakti!
