This morning, as soon as I got up, a big thought struck me:
"Of course! That is why Time is Kaala and Kaalakoota is poison!"
All masters have said that Time, called Kaala in Sanskrit, is what binds us in this world. All thought, action, memory, fear, anticipation, expectation, disappointment, is made up of an element called Time.
Ishwar-ji says that the Djinn called the Mind was unleashed upon himself by the Soul just like Aladin released the Djinn by rubbing his old discarded lamp.
At once, after his release, the Djinn runs our lives in the world of Time/Space.
काल is time. Shiva is called कालकाल Kaalakaala. The Soul, by surrendering to Ishwara, can become a witness of Time instead of a victim.
Just like when Shiva drank the poison released during the churning of the ocean, He saved all from its deadly effect.
कूट Koota is also an interesting word. It is deception, fraud, falsity, and also a hammer to beat. The effect of Kaala is to beat the Soul up by having the elements of past and future in the Mind overcome the immediate, present, bliss that is the experience of the Soul, that is eternally flowing as the grace of Shiva!
So Kaalakoota is a deadly combo.
Think (!!!) of this when your Mind distracts you next in your meditation. Kaalakoota poison! Witness it as Shiva drinks it and makes you free.
