रामं पदातिमालोक्य लङ्केशं च वरूथिनम् ।
हरियुग्यं रथं तस्मै प्रजिघाय पुरन्दरः ॥१२.८४॥
Notes: Kālidāsa says, “Noticing that Śrīrāma was fighting while standing on the ground whereas the King of Laṅkā was seated in a chariot, Indra, the lord of gods, sent to Śrīrāma his divine chariot, drawn by tawny-coloured horses."
