स मारुतिसमानीतमहौषधिहतव्यथः ।
लङ्कास्त्रीणां पुनश्चक्रे विलापाचार्यकं शरैः ॥१२.७८॥
Notes: Kālidāsa says, “Then, Lakṣmaṇa, revived and completely restored by the divine medicinal herbs that were brought well by Māruti, resumed his war with arrows that in a way taught the women folk of Laṅkā how to cry in mourning the death of their misdirected husbands and sons." In other words, another divine act was enacted to restore the righteous warrior, and the battle against the evil Rākṣasas was resumed.
