Translation: Oh, Madana, the God of Lust, get rid of your presence from my mind which is the abode of the lotus feet of Mukunda! Already, you have been scorched by the fire from Lord Śiva's Third-Eye trying to shoot your arrows of temptation. Do you now forget the ultimate ferocity of the Cakra of Murāri, Nārāyaṇa?
Notes: All the spiritual practices come to nought in a moment of lust. Classic examples include Viśvāmitra and others who were determined to succeed in their Tapas but fell prey to the simple effect of Madana or the God of Lust. Even Lord Śiva was attacked, but He lost His composure only momentarily before He realised what Madana was up to. He simply opened His Third-Eye and released Agni who burnt Madana down to ashes. Madana continued to exist without form after that. Here the devotee says that Madana should not be foolhardy and tempt the Lord who will release His Cakra to protect His devotee. The Cakra is more powerful than all the fire, Sun, and everything else in the universe.
