sakala kalālaya śāradahimakara sadṛśa vikāsa yuta ānane - (Oh Mother, Thou art) with face resembling the full wintry moon filled with beautiful marks,
makara varāṅka śarāsana maurvi mahitatara aḷaka mohane - charming with most beautiful tresses in a heap with a dolphin-shaped bow-like ornament,
śuka sanakādi munīśvara viracita sundara padayuga pūjane - with your feet beautifully decorated in worship by sages starting with Shuka and Sanaka,
vikaṭa jaṭā lasita indukalāpini - with your hair tied in a knot, with a crescent-moon ornament,
vimalasarojavarāsane - seated majestically on a lovely lotus,
vikacakamalapāde - your feet like the full-bloomed lotus,
vihatabhede - ending all disputation (through granting wisdom)
nihatakhede -destroying sorrow,
