T: Oh Nārāyaṇa, one whose lotus feet are worshipped by even Devendra, sages state that this creation was made from the sesame seeds of Your being. Your nose is like the Sesame flower, whose exhalation is the cause of this creation anyway!
Explanation:  A lovely nose has been compared by poets to the very shapely Sesame flower.  The sages have stated that the Sesame seeds in the Supreme Being's body formed the seed of all creation. Thus the poet makes an apt connection between what the scriptures state and the fact that the Lord's nose resembles a Sesame flower.

Oh! One whose lotus feet are worshipped by even Devendra,Nārāyaṇa, the sages affirm that from Your body, out of the Seasame seeds manifested therein, came this creation. In this context, the comely shape of Your nose like a Sesame flower testifies this theory since Your exhaled breath brings forth all creation!

T:  Oh Gajaśailanātha Śrī Varadarāja, all the Vedas and Itihāsas have taken the form of Your body.     So between Your entire form and Your lotus-shaped navel, it appears that a swarm of bees is hovering all over gathering the nectar from the Vedas blossoming in Your entire form, finally depositing it as honey in their home i.e.Your navel. This is the Madhuvidyā that is mentioned in the scriptures!
Explanation:  The Chandogyaupaniṣad describes the Madhuvidyā. The bees hover from flower to flower of many varieties and gather nectar. Finally they deposit the honey i.e. all their collection, in their Maṇḍala (honeycomb). Thus they can be seen darting back and forth between their honeycomb and the flowers. Since the Lord's outgoing breath creates the Vedas, they blossom throughout His body.  The lotus navel is the reddish-hued Maṇḍala (honeycomb). The bees that keep hovering around are busy in their Madhuvrata. This is the poet's imagination.

T:  Oh lotus-eyed Śrī Varadarāja, the gentle breeze of Your exhaled breath is like the tender breeze that heralds spring. The fragrance emanating from Your breath is attractive and powerful. Thus Your nostrils are so beautiful. They seem to be home to the Caitra and Vaiśakha months of spring!
Explanation: Madhu is a synonym for the month of Caitra. Mādhava is a synonym for the month of Vaiśakha. This is mentioned in some dictionaries. The gentle Malaya breeze blows northward from the mountains during the month of Caitra. The month of Vaiśakha is the season for the blooming of all flowers which then send out a powerfully attractive fragrance. The poet imagines that the Lord's exhaled breath is like the gentle Malaya breeze of Caitra/early spring, and the fragrance of the Lord's breath is the heady fragrance of Vaiśakha blooms. This Atiśayokti  is Utprekṣālaṅkāra.

T:  Oh  Lord, Śrī Varadarāja, the minds of the Yogis and the eyes of young damsels dart here and there within Your form. For them all, the resting place is Your cooling, fulfilling smile that is white and radiant like moonlight. May that protect me!
Explanation: As the minds of the meditator Yogis are constantly engrossed in the Lord's form, they are moving about all over the Lord's form. Similarly, the eyes of the love-stricken damsels are constantly hovering all over the Lord's form, delighting in its beauty.  These Yogis' minds and damsels' eyes both need a suitable place for resting once in a while.  That place is the Lord's delightful smile. That smile is lustrous white like the rays of moonlight.  The poet pleads that the smile may protect him. This is Upamālaṅkāra.

T:  Oh lotus-eyed  Lord, Śrī Varadarāja, Your gemlike lips are like the vessel is which is Siddhauṣadha, a surefire medicine for all ills. The Jiva bathed in that antidote is cleansed of the Tāpatrayam. A trace of that medicine's effectiveness is found in the moon on account of his being     the waste residue left in the crucible after extracting the medicine.
Explanation: The Lord's gentle smile on His lips is the supreme remedy and antidote for all worldly ills called patrayam. Anything touched or wetted by that supreme smile sees that worldly ills leave it scattered instantly.  In patrayam, the one element of physical ills is addressed by the moon known for his healing effects. This is attributed by the poet to the moon holding perhaps the waste residue from the crucible wherein the Lord's supreme medicine was prepared.
When oil is extracted from seeds, the waste residue is roughage holding but a tiny bit of the valuable oil. The waste left after extracting the essence is the residue called कुल्क.  The poet exclaims that the moon himself, being merely the waste residue, is so effective in curing physical ills and giving much joy. Then imagine how delightful is the effect of the core essence, i.e. the Lord's smile!

T:  Oh Lord Śrī Varadarāja, Your smile is the best medicine for all our existential troubles. The soft breeze of Your exhaled breath gently blows away the husk surrounding that smile (like husk on grains in a field).  That husk blown away becomes the rays of the moon which spreads around and heals and cools the whole world!
Explanation: Even the gentle laughter or smile of the Lord can drive away all our ills - spiritual, material and acts of Nature. Thus it is the best medicine for Tāpatraya. When the ears of grains in the field are blown over by the wind, their husk loosened already is blown away and scattered by the breeze. In the same way, the Lord's outgoing breath as He smiles scatter away the imagined husk around His smile, the poet says. This husk roughage is what scatters around and becomes the well-known cooling and healing rays of the moon. (We have seen before that the moon is supposed to nourish and heal all plant and animal life).

Since the grains inside are much tastier and more nourishing than the chaff/husk, the poet implies that the Lord's smile is far greater than the moon's rays in its cooling, healing and enlivening power. By calling the moon's rays unimportant chaff/husk, the poet is indirectly extolling the greatness of the Lord's smile! This is Aprastutapraśamsālaṅkāra, a category of Upamā.
